Hello From Burnaby!

Hi Family,

Look this message from Mandy. She sent some pictures from her camera (It looks like a paparazzo's photos, but that's ok!). They were very nice to me and I hope to keep in touch with them for a long time.

I would like to share my experience there with all of you. So, in a few days, I hope have time to update my blog with pictures and testemonials of all places and people that I met in Canada.

I will never forget these days I spent there. It was like a dream in a perfect Country.

Kiss for all.

Fâni

"Hi Fani
so nice to hear from you, we have been thinking about you.
How was your trip in Ontario and Quebec? Did you have fun on the train?
Things are good this end. Ethyn is enjoying his summer camps with the community centre
and waiting to go to big boys school in September. Our new student arrived safely and no
she cannot cook :( we miss you so much! You were hard to replace. We only have this
student for another week (phew) and then we get a girl from Japan for six weeks.
Fani, thanks for being a great part of our family, we miss you and your laughs. I think between
you and Essa you have stolen pieces of Ethyn's heart!
The weather has been nice and hot here so we have been out at the wading pool a few times and
out to the pool, hopefully it will continue for the rest of the summer months.
Anyways, I have enclosed a few pics of your visit here. Big hugs from all of us.
Keep in touch
love Mandy"

Quebec city

Família,

I am in Quebec City! It's so different! Everybody says that it looks like Paris. I believe, because it is perfect!

Now, I'm waiting for an 8 hours tour for all around Quebec City. I decided this now, in Hotel. I will come back to Hotel later, but it's ok. I want to see everything!!!

This Hotel is excellent! Unfortunelly, it is far from the most important places. So, I decided to join a city tour, because I can't lost time...

The people here only speak French, only some people speak English! It's ok, because the taxi drivers speaks English and everyone in hotel too! Anyway, I already got how to say "Je ne parle pas Français".

I miss you!

Kisses,

Fâni

Hello everyone!

Yesterday it was very warm, about 35º C. After I got home, the hostfamily and I went to Ethyn's Tball game. It's like baseball for kids. In Burnaby there are a lot of parks, and when the parents arrived from work, they usely go to walk around and stay together the chidren.

There is a public swimming pool here and, if you want to swim there, you only have to pay a small tax. They like to ride on a bycicle, patins, and skate so much.

There are a lot of places to go drink so many kind of coffee. They really love it!
